Welcome to the Arizona State Council of the International Association of Insurance Professionals. (IAIP)  We are a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting all insurance professionals with continuing education, leadership development and networking.

The organization was founded in 1938 as the National Association of Insurance Women (International) for the purpose of providing educational development for its members.  Recently the dba IAIP was added to our name.  The association has grown to over 7,000 members internationally. Our members work in all aspects of the insurance field.  IAIP is also open to those businesses that support our industry-such as restoration companies, glass companies, car rental companies, etc.

Arizona is currently made up of two organizations: Insurance Professionals of Phoenix (IPOP) and Valley of the Sun Insurance Professionals (VSIP).

The Arizona Council was a great success on October 14th & 15th.  Those that came for Friday night enjoyed some good food, Bingo and LRC-fun games.  Also some of the vendors were there on Friday-so we were able to spend money. 

The Regional Conference will be held in Hawaii April 12-15, 2012. The National Convention will in Dallas, TX  June 6-9, 2012.

We will be planning Education classes after the first of the year-so come back for more information.

On November 5th we are having a Hike/Picnic at Papago Park.  The hike will start at 8am and then lunch will be late morning.  For those that aren’t hiking we will have different games going at the tables and just enjoying each other-bring your family and join us. We will be at Ramada #11.  This is a potluck picnic-so bring your favorite picnic food to share.

In January we are going to go to the Herberger Theater on January 27th to see a great comedy “My Mother is Italian, My Father is Jewish and I’m in Therapy”.  Contact Sherry Gamble at 602-749-4126 for more information.
